The Demise of Two Brothers (D-R Short Story 1)

Two brothers. Two opposing fates.

Graydor and his older brother Cyto study together at the Dinolarian University. They are typical college students on planet Dinolaria. Graydor, like his father, is interested in Earth, and Cyto likes to bury himself in texts involving the history of the planet and its people. Although their studies differ, they still respect each other.

But that all changes when a suspect related to their mother’s murder is caught. Knowing that the police arrested the correct person, Cyto wants him executed. But, against Cyto’s protests, their father, Gondear, chooses to have the criminal stand trial instead. This move sets Cyto on a course of darkness. He isolates himself, expands his research into banned readings, and even becomes a suspect in a bombing.
